Kairos is an app that uses video games to help children aged 6 to 12 who have ADHD and / or ASD to complete their daily routines.

A challenge

Completion of routines is a big challenge for children with neurodevelopmental disorders. ADHD is characterized by attention and / or impulsivity and hyperactivity difficulties that affect different spheres of life (social, academic, etc.). As for the ASD, they present significant difficulties in terms of communication and social interactions as well as in terms of behaviors, interests and activities. These children often have deficits in executive functions that can cause significant difficulties in performing routines. With Kairos, they develop the ability to self-regulate at an early age.

Self-confidence

It is essential to enable kids with disabilities to develop their self-esteem and thereby their self-confidence. We approach childhood because we know that the repercussions will be significant in adulthood and contribute to their development. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can severely limit a person’s ability to engage in daily activities and participate in society. Specific interventions targeting cognitive deficits must be implemented. By having a real impact on the executing functions, Kairos will allow children to change the way they perceive themselves and allow them to show their full potential.
